The RTX 5060 series graphics cards are about to be officially announced and will gradually hit the market over the next month. The RTX 5060 Ti 16GB is expected to launch by the end of this month, while the RTX 5060 Ti 8GB variant will likely follow in early next month.
As the release date approaches, specifications for the RTX 5060 Ti have become increasingly clear. The card will feature the GB206-300-A1 GPU chip, making it the first graphics card based on the GB206 architecture. It comes equipped with 4,608 CUDA cores, which represents a modest increase of only 256 cores (less than 6%) compared to the RTX 4060 Ti.
The RTX 5060 Ti will utilize 128-bit GDDR7 memory with an expected effective frequency of 28GHz, delivering 448GB/s of memory bandwidth. As with previous generations, NVIDIA will offer two memory configurations: 8GB and 16GB variants.
Power requirements for the RTX 5060 Ti are expected to increase slightly, with a TDP of 180W - a 20W increase over its predecessor.
