Samsung has announced their newest product in the Odyssey Neo range, a 43-inch monitor that offers 4K resolution, 144hz refresh rate, and a flat quantum mini-LED display. The panel features a matte finish to minimize light reflections when gaming, 1ms MPRT, AMD FreeSync Premium Pro support, two USB 3.0 ports, dual 20-watt speakers, and 400 nits of typical brightness with VESA HDR 600 certification. It also has two HDMI 2.1 inputs and a DisplayPort 1.4.
The monitor is not only suitable for gaming, but also for streaming content such as Netflix, Prime Video, and YouTube with its Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 5, and Ethernet port. It is also compatible for game streaming with services such as Geforce Now and Xbox Cloud Gaming, with a controller that can be connected wirelessly or through one of the USB ports.
The Odyssey Neo G7 is set to release in North America during the current quarter and is estimated to cost around $1,500. Based off the reviews of the curved Samsung Odyssey Neo G7 32″, this monitor should be one of the best gaming monitors that can be purchased.
