Introducing Philips 45B1U6900C and 45B1U6900CH Monitors
At their core, these monitors share many similarities, but their distinct features set them apart from each other. The 45B1U6900CH model comes with a 5 MP webcam that has a noise-cancelling microphone, whereas the 45B1U6900C model lacks this webcam but instead comes with an integrated KVM switch. This switch replaces one of the two USB-C ports and allows users to effortlessly switch the monitor between two different PCs.
The Philips Monitors boast a 5120×1440 32:9 display with a 75Hz refresh rate and a 4ms response time. The display also features a maximum brightness of 450 cd/m² with a 3000:1 contrast ratio, and is certified displayHDR 400.
In terms of connectivity, both models come with two HDMI 2.0 inputs and a single Displayport 1.4. For USB, the 45B1U6900CH model features two USB-C ports and four downstream USB-A ports, while the 45B1U6900C model comes with only one USB-C port and four downstream USB-A ports. All USB ports support display and power delivery of up to 100W. Additionally, the monitors feature Gigabit Ethernet and an audio jack that pairs with the integrated 5W speaker pair.
When it comes to ergonomics, the stands for these Philips monitors offer height adjustment of up to 150mm, as well as a tilt range of -5 to 15 degrees and a swivel range of up to 45 degrees. The display is also Eyesafe-certified for blue light protection and colour accuracy, ensuring that users’ eyes are protected from prolonged exposure to blue light while maintaining accurate colours.
