An image recently shared online suggests AMD is making bold performance claims for its upcoming Ryzen 9000X3D series, asserting that the new CPUs can help deliver over 1,000 frames per second in a variety of popular esports games when paired with high-end graphics cards.

According to the marketing material, AMD is promoting a new "1000 FPS Club," highlighting the extreme frame rate capabilities of its next-generation processors with 3D V-Cache technology. The company points to specific combinations capable of reaching this milestone:

  • When paired with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 or RTX 5090, the Ryzen 7 9800X3D and Ryzen 9 9950X3D can reportedly achieve 1000 FPS in six major titles:

    • Counter-Strike 2

    • League of Legends

    • Valorant

    • PUBG: Battlegrounds

    • Breach

    • Marvel Rivals

  • When paired with AMD's own upcoming Radeon RX 9070 XT, the same processors are said to hit the 1000 FPS mark in League of Legends and Valorant.

AMD also stated that its "1000 FPS Club" extends to the mobile platform, with the Ryzen 9 9955HX3D also earning a spot. However, the company did not share any specific performance data or the gaming scenarios for its flagship mobile gaming CPU.
