The 899 USD price includes rebates and promotions.

This is the first time Radeon RX 6900XT has been available for 899 USD, which is the price of the Gigabyte GAMING OC model at Newegg. The card dropped from 1250 USD to 950 USD and is now in stock and shipping. That said, this RX 6900XT is now literally being sold under MSRP.

Furthermore, thanks to mail-in-rebate, customers may still reduce the price to 899.99 USD, the lowest price for RX 6900XT since its introduction. This sale appears just days ahead of the Radeon RX 6950XT launch. So it might be the first sign that retailers are actively trying to sell existing inventory once interest from customers shifts to the newer model.

Gigabyte’s Gaming OC model ships with slightly faster clock speeds compared to reference specs. The game clock has been upgraded from 2015 MHz to 2050 MHz, while boost goes 35 MHz higher to 2285 MHz. So this is definitely not the fastest Navi 21 graphics card around, but it is indeed a full-custom design in a black and silver design which should fit most gaming rigs.

The card is equipped with a triple-fan WindForce 3X cooling solution. It requires three slots and three 8-pin power connectors.

The price of RX 6900XT’s successor is not yet known, but given how cheap RX 6900XT cards have recently become, it certainly cannot be much higher. Of course, Newegg’s promo is a localized deal, but this means that other retailer may now see the incentive to lower their price as well.
